He was predeceased by: his parents, James Calvin Criser, Sr. and Daisey Evelyn Carter Criser; and his siblings, James Criser, Jr., Terry Criser, Gary Criser and Gayle Meadows.
He is survived by: his children, Kelsey Criser (Brittany) of Chesapeake, Kodie Criser of Monett and Michael Criser of Warm Springs, Virginia; his grandchildren, Aiden McAllister, Ashton Criser and Rorey Criser; his siblings, Steve Criser of Hot Springs, Gloria Rucker (Teddy) of Hot Springs and Cindy Folks of Bacova, Virginia; and his close friend Dina Jordan of Bacova. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
