With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Vernon Burton (Aylett, Virginia), who passed away on October 23, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent William Holman Burton; his wife Phyllis Mills Burton; and his sisters, Jean Pitts and Shirley Sullivan. He is survived by: his parent Elizabeth Glass Burton of Goochland; his daughters, Diane Burrows and Sharon Hayward; his brothers, James, Kenneth, Billy, Linwood and Sonny; and his brother-in-law Frank Sullivan. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
