He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fulton Kidd, Sr. and Hester Kate Wilson Kidd of Axton; his wife Martha Gauldin Kidd; and his siblings, Robert Fulton Kidd, Jr., Lewis Edward Kidd, Sr., James Otis Kidd, Erva Kidd Webb, Doris Kidd Moore and Mildred Lorene Kidd Gilley.

He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Ruth Nichols of Collinsville, Marie Kidd Parker of Collinsville and Douglas Stokes Kidd, Sr. of Martinsville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
