He was predeceased by: his parents, George Anderson and Summers Anderson; and his former wife Faye. He is survived by: his wife Anna Anderson; his stepsons, Mark Elzey and Joshua Elzey; his niece Kelly Walker; and his nephew Todd Carter. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
