It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reesa Witt Rivera of Axton, Virginia, born in Miami, Florida, who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reecie Dewel Witt and Bernice "Bunny" Mae Yeatts Witt; and her son Corey Van Karkenny. She is survived by: her daughter Courtney Karkenny of Axton; her brother Rodney Witt (Pattie) of Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Gracie Witt and Camryn Witt.
