She was predeceased by: her father Jesse Thomas Minter; her former husband Arthur Lenwood Gibson; her husband Oswald W. Hairfield; her daughter Brenda Lea Gibson; her stepchildren, Helen Hairfield Bravick and Ronnie Hairfield; and her siblings, Margaret Minter Kendrick, Lottie Minter, Fannie Minter Kimball, Lynn Minter, Neal Minter, Herman Minter, Sam Minter, Stafford Minter and James Minter.
She is survived by: her son Arthur "Thomas" Gibson (Jencie) of Axton; her granddaughter Amanda Gibson Meadows (Mark) of Danville; her great grandchild Jacob Reid Meadows; and her stepdaughter Susan Smart (Ted) of Axton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
