Martin; his son Derril Watkins; and his siblings, Lillie Carter, Sarah Morrison, Margie Watkins, Lillian Strange, John Henry Martin, Jessie Watkins, Bobby D. Watkins and Lewis H. Watkins.
He is survived by: his children, Antionette Reese and Melvin Watkins, Jr.; his stepdaughter Karen Carter; and his siblings, Shirley Adams, Richard Watkins and Larry Watkins (Loria). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Sinai Holiness Church (276 Cozy Ln, Axton, VA 24054). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
