With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanette Yeatts Wood (Axton, Virginia), who passed away on September 22, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Willia Yeatts Love and Charlie Ramsey Yeatts; her brothers, Charlie Alfred Yeatts, Bennett Haymes "Pete" Yeatts, Garnett Wayne Yeatts, Aubrey Lee Yeatts and Darrell Edward Yeatts; and her stepfather Dan Love.
She is survived by: her husband Richard D. Wood; her sons, Jerry "Jay" Blair II (April) of Danville, VA, Jared Blair (Ashlee) of Gretna, VA and Steven D. Wood of Danville, VA; her grandchildren, Cecelia "Cece" Mae Phillips, Olivia Ray Blair, Charlotte Danielle Blair, Madison Shawn Blair and Kathryn Dawn Blair; and her mother-in-law Ann Marie Wood.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the County Line Christian Church (12711 Chatham Rd, Axton, VA 24054). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to County Line Christian Church in remembrance of Jeanette.
