He is survived by: his wife Sandra Barbour Swinney; his children, Bruce Swinney (Tammy) and Margie Martin (Rodney); his grandchildren, Susan King (Larry Mabe), Michelle Haak (Ryan) and Kristen Norris (Bobby); his stepgrandson Nicholas King (Wendy); his great grandchildren, Adisyn Haak, Wyatt Norris, Eliza Mabe and Sophia Mabe; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Briana Mabe, Candice Mabe, Zoey Mabe, Finleigh King and Fletcher King; his siblings, Marshall Swinney (Wanda), Samuel Swinney (Karen), Charles Swinney (Mildred) and Maxine Mays (Steve); and his caregiver Sherri White. He is also survived by family, many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Swinney's memory may be made to Beckham United Methodist Church.
