He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Ann Roach Manning; and his brothers, Roy and Arnold Manning. He is survived by: his children, Alice Howerton (Scott) and George R. Manning, Jr. (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Brantly, Ainsley Claire, Aspen Howerton, Jackson, Jaime and Georgia Manning; his siblings, Catherine Finney, Stanley Manning, Ray Manning (Brenda) and Melvin Manning (Bertha); and his siblings-in-law, Janie Sue Barker and Jesse "Bootsie" Roach (Bonnie).
