With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Floyd William Giles of Axton, Virginia, who passed away on September 12, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Booker T. Giles and Elizabeth Conrad Giles; his wife Patricia Martin Giles; his children, Larone Smith and Edna V. Martin; and his siblings, Gertrude Giles, Booker S., Charles E., Lee Andrew, James, Lewis R. Giles and Kenny Meadows.

He is survived by: his children, Deborah D. Finney (Issac "Von"), Tonya R. Giles, Mellissia Giles Hunt (Alvin) and Jerome Smalls; and his siblings, Doretha Jamison, Sherman Giles (Mary) and Alonzo Giles. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
