He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Moir Hiatt, Sr. and Hyacinth Fontenot Hiatt; his son Larry Daniel Hankins; and his sister Nancy Norman Beckett. He is survived by: his wife Rita Hiatt; his daughter Kimberly Marie Whitlock; his sister Katherine Hiatt (Greg Kelly); his granddaughter Kayla Faye Whitlock; his stepmother Shirley Hiatt; and his pet Zoey.
