He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Arthur Simpson and Dorothy Gilford Simpson; his daughter Patricia Lynn "Pattie" Simpson; and his siblings, Audrey, Jenny, Dottie, Betty, Jean Frances and Arthur.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Simpson; his children, Annamarie Wright, Charles A. "Buddy" Simpson, Jr. (Deborah), Robert Michael "Mike" Simpson (Lisa) and William Aubrey "Chip" Simpson (Paula); his grandchildren, Michael, Jade, Kara, Amanda, Christopher and Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Envious, Scarlett, Maxxamillion and Maison.
