The memory of Bruce Edward Simmons Sr. of Axton, Virginia, who passed away on March 4, 2025 at the age of 74, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Simmons and Ora Lee Cobb Simmons; and his siblings, Janet Cobb, Willie Lee Simmons and Jerry Long.

He is survived by: his wife Gladious Simmons; his sons, Bruce Edward Simmons, Jr., Byron Simmons, Bradley Simmons, Brandon Simmons and Brentt Simmons; and his sisters, Rose Hall and Cassandera Smith. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Sinai Holiness Church (276 Cozy Ln, Axton, VA 24054). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
