It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Gray Edwards of Austinville, Virginia, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Edwards and Beatrice Bowman Edwards; his wife Helen Marie Phillips Edwards; and his siblings, Leonard Edwards, Ray Edwards, Guy Edwards, Burt Edwards and Dorothy Lawson.
He is survived by: his children, Marie (Nathan Youngblood, Jr.), Steve (Stacey Edwards) and Dean (Jill Edwards); and his siblings, Elmer Edwards of Glenn Edwards, W. D and June Burnette. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
