He is survived by: his wife Linda Hawks; his children, Stephanie McMillian (Michael) of Woodlawn, VA, Kenneth Nester (Melissa) of Independence, VA and Durand Nester (Cannette) of Independence, VA; his grandchildren, Alicia Savage, Bradley Nester and Bella Nester; his great grandchild Lincoln Savage; and his siblings, Arnie Nester, Olen G. Nester, Elmo Nester Arlee Nester (Prudence) and Ida Eastridge.
Flowers are appreciated, but in lieu of that donations can be made to Laurel Rescue Squad or Pickett Cemetery.
