He is survived by: his parents, Allen J. Veir and Blanche D. Veir; his wife Joyce; his children, Marianne Pilger (Martin), Diane Bronson (Jim), Ellen Penshorn (Kent) and Joseph; his grandchildren, Emily Rose (Ryan), David Penshorn and Carly Penshorn; and his cousins, David Rice, Richard Melvin and Ron Melvin.
