It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Maw Austin of Austinville, Virginia, who passed away on October 13, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Mickey Austin; and her siblings, Barbara Vaughn, Gladys Vaughn, Ophelia Goad, Delmer Vaughn, Dessie White, Glendye Vaughn, Guida Hillick, Marshall Vaughn, Ray Vaughn, John Vaughn and Coy Vaughn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Renee (Jimmy Young) of Austinville and Amy (Patrick Sykes) of Austinville; her grandchildren, Alyssa Payge Sykes, Adyn Blake Sykes, Declan Trace Sykes, Dagan Michael Sykes and Brylan Fore-Sykes; her great grandchild Kolton Everett Okoa Sykes; her nieces, Beverly Phillips, Edna Grubb and Mindy Vaughn Pedrero; and her siblings, Bob Vaughn of Navarre, OH and Dean Vaughn of Austinville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
