He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy Frazier Pickett; his son Lonnie Pickett; and his siblings, Malcolm Pickett, Bascom Pickett, Basil Pickett, Carl Pickett, Willis Pickett, Ina Alley, Lola Pickett, Alma Pickett, Sylvia Lawson and Tressie Pickett.
He is survived by: his daughters-in-law, Donnie Pickett, Janet Pickett, Todd Pickett and Tammy Pickett; his grandchildren, Kayla, Scottie, Wendy and Wesley; his sister-in-law Maxine Pickett; and his nephew Tommy Oakes. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
