He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Shupe; his children, Lenny Shupe (Nancy), Vickie Shew (Claude), Robin Keller and David Shupe (Karen); his stepchildren, Linda Avery, Rena McDonough and Donald Dodge (Angela); and his siblings, Margie Lee Parris and Alonzo "Jack" Shupe (Shelia Croft). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; five nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
