Linda Alward Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Alward of Atlantic, Virginia, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on August 3, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Schapley and Hilda Broussard (Clark); her stepfather Sydney Broussard; and her sister Denise Broussard. She is survived by: her husband George R. Alward III of Atlantic, VA; her son George R. Alward, IV (Candice) of Atlantic, VA; her grandchildren, Ian Alward of Atlantic, VA and Maggie Alward of Atlantic, VA; her siblings, Dolores Lee (William) of Gautier, MS and Richard Broussard (Tina) of Biloxi, MS; and her brother-in-law Richard Alward (Lisa) of Dennis, MA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
