He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Joseph "Joe" Kail and Nancy Ferris Kail; and his pet Cricket. He is survived by: his wife Joan Graham Kail; his children, Kim Armentrout (Darrin), Jeff Kail and Kristin Stowe (David); his grandchildren, Matt, Greg, Elise Armentrout, Noah Kail, Sara and Kaitlyn Stowe; his brother Bo Kail (Liz); his niece Nancy Freerksen (Brian); and his nephews, Joe (Leana) and John Kail (Jaclyn).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's name are suggested to the Chapel Pantry at the Eastern Shore Chapel or the Red Cross Disaster Relief.
