He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Alward and Elizabeth Alward; his son George Alward IV (Candice); his grandchildren, Maggie and Ian Alward; his siblings, Jeanie Alward and Richard; his sister-in-law Lisa Alward; and his wife Linda Carol Alward.
