He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Burton Bowden and Nettie Simpson Bowden; his wife Earnestine Bobbie Bowden; his children, Clarence Bennie Bowden (Sally Bowden), Faith Ann Berry (John Berry), Barbara Jean Godwin (Harry Godwin), Robert Wayne Bowden (Linda Bowden) and Mark Allen Bowden (Kim Bowden); his grandchildren, Beth Ross, Cristina Mackey, Brian of Baltimore, MD, John Berry of Helena, MT, Travis of Midlothian, VA, David Homa II, Samantha of Atlantic, VA, James Berry of Fayetteville, NC, Jeffery Oshaben, Katye of Wyoming, Ashley Kambarn, Joe of Chincoteague, VA, Leanna Bowden of Atlantic, VA and Alyson Bowden of Atlantic, VA.; his sister Bertie Lynn; his sister-in-law Carolyn Bowden of Chincoteague, VA; his children, Nettie Simpson Bowden, Eunice Fecteau, Ellerbee of Indiana, Betty Hoffman, Jack Bowden and Carlton Bowden; his grandson Clarence Robert Bowden; his great grandchild Angela Mae Berry; and his pet Lady. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
