It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Conklin (Atkins, Virginia), who passed away on August 28, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, John Conklin, Glen Conklin and Robert Conklin. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Conklin; his children, John Conklin (Tami) of Roanoke, VA, Michael Conklin (Darlene) of Salem, VA, Mary Jane Huber (Dirk) of Vernal, UT, Amy Kearnes (Chris) of Wake Forest, NC and Brian Conklin (Jada) of Sugar Grove, VA; his siblings, Louis Conklin (Sheretta) of Abingdon, VA, Buck Conklin, Wife Rosella of Mouth, Carl Conklin of Atkins, VA, Helen Conklin of Atkins, VA and Edith Delby of Wytheville, VA; and his sister-in-law Pat Conklin. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and one on the way; several special nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Go Forth Missions at Cedar Bluff Baptist Church, 132 Churchland Drive Atkins, VA 24311.
