She was predeceased by: her husband Ed Bridges; her parents, Charles Catron Sr. and Verna Cedella Cornett Catron; and her siblings, Frances Funk, Pauline Bush, Virginia Mason, James Catron and Clarence "Scrap Iron" Catron.
She is survived by: her sons, Darrell Bridges (Patty) of Atkins and Mike Bridges (Bev Wymer) of Marion; her sister Imogene Duncan of Richmond; her grandchildren, Andrew Bridges of Atkins, Logan Bridges of Atkins and Hannah Bridges of Atkins; and her caregivers, Logan Bridges, Brooklyn Byrd, Valarie Roop and Sandy Roop. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Wassum Cemetery (5549 Lee Hwy, Atkins, VA 24311).
