He was predeceased by: his parents, Hurley Anderson and Gussie Aker Anderson; his wife Shirley Anderson; his great grandchildren, Jordan Woods and Caleb McGrady; his sister Laura Bates; and his nephew Doug Waddell.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Anderson (Teresa) of Atkins, Linda Taylor (Rick) of Saltville and Dennis Anderson of Marion; his grandchildren, Daiquiri Church (Oscar), Kenny Wilson (Terri), Nicole McGrady (Stacey), Alex Taylor and Sheena Anderson (Britt Meadows); his great grandchildren, Matthew, Jasmine Jmaiai, Abby, Allysa, Adam, Joseph, Alecia, Hayden, Amelia McGrady, Daniel Cole Smith and Briggs Bryant Meadows; and his niece Barbara Waddell.
