He is survived by: his wife Sherry Atkins Russell; his stepdaughter Lisa Maloyed; and his siblings, Sadie Burchett (Ron), Fred Russell (Nancy), John Russell (Janet), Robert "Buzzy" Russell, Joe Russell (Martha), Ray Russell and Sam Russell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
