It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Terry LaVelle Childs of Ashland, Virginia, who passed away on February 8, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Raymond Childs, Sr. and Eva Louise Childs; his brothers, James Raymond Childs, Jr., Alan Lee Childs and Dwayne Weldon Childs; and his uncles, Albert Childs, Jr. and Tony Childs.
He is survived by: his sisters, Marilyn V. Massey of Upper Marlboro, Sharon L. James of Ashland, Virginia, Tangee A. Childs of Ashland, Virginia and Daphne V. Childs of Ashland, Virginia; his brothers-in-law, Terrence James and John Massey; his aunts and uncles, Debra Childs of Caroline County, Bonnie of Washington, Sandra Deyo, Avery Childs and Eric Childs; his nieces and nephews, Ashley Samuel, Torri Childs, Derrick Gahagan, Jr. and Christopher Childs; and his close friend Tyrone Burley. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Interment will be private. Due to COVID-19 a mask or face covering will be required.
