She was predeceased by: her siblings, William H. Duke and Margaret Caudle; and her son William "Randy" Trent (Brenda). She is survived by: her children, Mary Kyle Smith (Eddie) and Thomas M. Trent. She is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Ashland Library Fund or the First Baptist Church "OK Chorale".
