She was predeceased by: her husband Martin Glass; her parents, Mary Thurston and Luther Thurston; and her brother Billy Thurston. She is survived by: her children, Shirley Friedhoff (David) and Wesley Crawford; her stepdaughters, Rebecca Mills, Alene Davis and Irene Sipe (Larry); her grandchildren, Christopher Friedhoff (Carlee) and Amy Crawford; and her great grandchild Aubrey Friedhoff.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelsen Funeral Home Reid Chapel (412 S Washington Hwy, Ashland, VA 23005). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park (2901 W Hundred Rd, Chester, VA 23831).
