He is survived by: his wife Pamela Marshall Stevenson; his sons, John Cantey Stevenson III (Heather), Marshall Barret Stevenson (Cassie) and Hugh Chandler Stevenson (Amineh); and his grandchildren, Hugh, Will, Elspeth, Meg, Gracie and Henry. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
