She was predeceased by: her mother Elizabeth M.; her brothers, Samuel F. Madert, Jr. and Howard F. Madert; and her children, Curtis Bateman and Marie Minton.
She is survived by: her children, Charles'Chuck'Bateman and Elaine Alley Hill; her grandchildren, Daniel Bourne (Kathleen), Kevin Minton, Jesse Hill Jr. (Sarah) and Chelsey Hill; her sister Ann Parrish; and her sister-in-law Nancy Madert. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Signal Hill Memorial Park (12360 Hanover Courthouse Rd, Hanover, VA 23069).
