With solemn reverence, we commemorate Edith L. Roye of Ashland, Virginia, born in Stigler, Oklahoma, whose life came to an end on February 19, 2025 at the age of 101, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dewey and Linnie Dore Folsom (Gilstrap); her husband Colonel David P. Roye; her daughter Judith E. Roye; her sisters, Maxine, Louella and Carolyn; and also, Robert, John, Kee, Frank and Jesse.
She is survived by: her former husband Lt. David Price Roye; her children, David Price Roye, Jr. (Carol Roye), Linda Carol Alvey, Margaret Roye Genkins (Steve Genkins) and Mary Louise Price (Bill Price); her grandson Ben Roye (Kristin); and her children, Katy Gipstein (Steve), Seth Roye (Anjali), Erin Simpson (Michael), Emily Franquin (Pierre), Elena Roye, Garland Alvey (Melissa), Michelle Alvey, Daniel Genkins (Elise Russo), Julian Genkins, Andrew Price (Shayna Heron) and Caroline Price (Matt Dering).
