She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Tillman and Ellen Sims; her husband Preston Jackson; her children, Shavon Wood (Sterling) and Emanuel Sims; her grandchildren, Niayah, Jermaine, London, Emanuel Jr., Elijah and E'lana; and her siblings, Ethel "Sweetsy" Freguson, Claudia "Bootsy" Christian, Glenda Richardson (Allen), Juwan "Dave" Sims (Ayanna) and Alonzo "Lonnie" Sims (Marie). She was also cherished by her cousins who were like brothers and sisters, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
