He was predeceased by: his father Navy. He is survived by: his wife Karen Tilghman George; his daughter Rebekah Grace Heffington; his son-in-law Michael Heffington; his grandchildren, Abigail, William and Charlotte; and his siblings, Cheryl G. Towslee, Kenny M. George (Vincent) and Charles J. George.
