We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2021, at the age of 63, William Bowie Abercrombie of Ashburn, Virginia, born in Oneonta, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Glenn Abercrombie and Annette Hooper Abercrombie; and his siblings, Sydney Anne Kramar and Jim Abercombie. He is survived by: his sisters, Ruth Braun (Greg) of Palm Springs, CA and Dede Holmes (Dave) of Woodbridge, VA; his wife Lisa Abercrombie; his daughters, Juliann Abercrombie Winn (Robbie) of Ashburn, VA and Jennifer Abercrombie Murray (Mitchell) of Richmond, VA; his stepchildren, Stephanie, Kaeli, Jack (Rachael) and Anna Knight; and his former wife Brenda Harkness. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the NicaWorks Orphanage in Nicaragua, where Bowie traveled and served.
