He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Lutke (Slaby) and Francis Lutke; his wife Mary E. Lutke; and his son Thomas G. Lutke. He is survived by: his children, Michael, Jonathan and Karen; his granddaughters, Jane McCarty, Helen McCarty and Julia Lutke; and his brother Kenneth Lutke (Sylvia).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
