He is survived by: his wife Jane "Jill" Terry Thurman; his daughter Janet Thurman Walter; his grandchildren, Alexander (Isabel), Thomas (Amanda), George and Sarah Walter; his great grandchild Alexandra; and his sister Gloria Rohm of Louisiana. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
