Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lorna Jean Burley of Ashburn, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 68, on December 19, 2024. She was predeceased by: her father Johnny Booker; and her siblings, Lloyd Booker and Lydia Rooks. She is survived by: her mother Sylvia Booker (Booker); her husband Laurence A. Burley, Jr.; her brother Billy Huff; her son Macy Booker; her daughter-in-law Nadia Booker; and her granddaughters, Alicia Schumacher-Serrano and Jayla Booker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ninth Street Church of Christ (715 S 9th St, Paducah, KY 42003). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:45 AM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in her honor to organizations she supported throughout her life – The American Heart Association, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Purple Heart Foundation.
