It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan C Widerkehr of Ashburn, Virginia, born in San Francisco, California, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Eidswick and Amy Bogardus Eidswick. She is survived by: her husband Robert Widerkehr; her children, Wendy Illig (Frank) and Robert Widerkehr Jr.; her granddaughters, Caroline Murphy (Patrick) and Paige Illig; and her great grandchildren, Bennet Hayes Murphy and John Wiles Murphy.
