She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav Boenitsch and Martha Boenitsch; and her husband Richard Brans Elwell. She is survived by: her children, Robert M. Elwell of Herndon, VA, Karen E. Elwell of Round Hill, VA and Barbara A. Carmichael of Leesburg, VA; her children-in-law, Manami Elwell and James Carmichael; and her grandchildren, Richard, Emma and Jason.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Victory School, Washington, D.C.
