She was predeceased by: her parents, James Boyer Phillips and Margaret Costello Phillips; her sisters, Claudia, Eugenia, Luceil and Dorothy; and her daughter Joyce James (Fletcher).

She is survived by: her children, Betty Jane Southam (Fletcher) and Stephen Fletcher (Cindy). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
