He was predeceased by: his mother Hattie Jane Barnes; his grandparents, Ernest and Jessie Barnes; and his uncle Dennis Barnes. He is survived by: his children, Griffin and Harper Jane; the mother of his children Caroline Shell; his stepsiblings, Phyllis Moore, Greg, Gary Bynum, Cynthia and Carnell Green; his aunt Carolyn; his uncle Ernie Brown; his cousins, Terri Wright, Rhonda Brown, Jason, Jacquia Winstead and Rufus Barnes; and his uncle Currie Joyner (Joyner). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
