It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Reuben Ballard of Ashburn, Virginia, who passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Wayne and Mary Geneva Ballard (Hodgkins); and his wife Mary Jane Ballard. He is survived by: his children, Karen Normandy (John) of Ashburn, Joyce Phillips (Dave) of Richmond, Jean Nowakowski (John) of Ashburn, David Ballard (Pam) of McLean, Robert Ballard (Karen) of Ashburn, Colleen Vidaurre of Fairfax, Suzanne Ballard of Ashburn, Lisa Vaughn of Fairfax and Greg Ballard (Claire) of Richmond. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
