He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Christensen and Sara Christensen. He is survived by: his wife Josephine; his daughter Tiffany Albertelli of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Michael, Anna, Marie and Julia; his daughter Jessica Nicholson of Leesburg; his child-in-law Conor; his grandchildren, Claire and Maxwell; and his son Jonathan Christensen of Alexandria. He is also survived by three children, six grandchildren, and three sisters.

Both before and after his conversion to Catholicism, Allen lived as an example of Christian charity.
