He is survived by: his brothers, George "Allen" Taylor and William "Craig" Taylor (Carolyn); his wife Susan Wood Taylor; his children, Melissa T. Miller (Terry) of Dillwyn, Tracy Taylor of Buckingham and Stephen W. Taylor, Jr. of Farmville; his grandchildren, DeAndre (Meagan), Trey, Natalie, Bryce, Nichlaus, Harmony, Hope, Noah, Emma and Jayda; and his great grandchildren, Amiyah and Alijah. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dunkum Funeral Home (16923 Oak St, Dillwyn, VA 23936). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hanes Chapel Cemetery (1171 Copper Mine Rd, Dillwyn, VA 23936).
