She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Snoddy and Alice Snoddy; and her husband Ralph Nicholas. She is survived by: her sons, Harold Nicholas (Sharon) of Harrisburg, NC and Bruce Nicholas (Marlene) of Powhatan, VA; and her brothers, Monroe Snoddy (Janie) of Arvonia, VA. and Wayne Snoddy (Sharon) of Arvonia, VA..

Due to Covid 19 concerns, a private graveside service to honor Lucy's life will be conducted by Pastor Russell Snoddy at Mt Tabor Baptist Church for the immediate family.
