She was predeceased by: her parents, Ann Saylor and Sherman Johnson; her brother Sherman Johnson, Jr.; and her niece Jennie Lee McKenney. She is survived by: her boyfriend Ken Comfort; her pet Jax; and her sisters, Norma Mckenney and Carol Miller-Meads.

She collected and donated for families less fortunate at Christmas in Richmond VA and Nelson County.
