She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleveland C. Thacker and Evelyn Mays Thacker; her siblings, Cleveland Thacker (Buddy) and Vera Mays Shelton; her nephew Billy Mays; her sisters, Joyce T. Mays and Mary T. Arthur; her nephew Troy Arthur; her sister Rebecca Gunter (Bet); and her grandson Michael Shotwell.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy C. Shotwell (Ricky) and W. T. Curd, III (Mary Ann); her grandchildren, Brittany S. Stancil (Jess), Brandi S. Williams (Cody), Bailey S. Mullins (Tyler), Ashley, Johnny Folster, Mandi E. Reeves (Ryan) and Dennis Ellis (Lindsay); her great grandchildren, Laken, Maverick, Walker, Savannah, Caroline, Mason, Julian and Arron; the father of her children William T. Curd, Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Thacker and Alvin Arthur. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
